*not sure what's up with the font changing sizes....
I can't even begin to describe how sweet and perfect this boy is, especially after how hard Annie was. But who knows? Maybe he'll be a really difficult toddler because Annie is so much fun.
Height: 21.25in (31%, up from 22% two weeks ago)
Weight: 9lbs, 5oz (31%, up from 15% two weeks ago)
The doctor was so impressed with him today, seeing as he gained 2 pounds since two weeks ago! Go, breastmilk! Granted, he is eating about every hour and a half right now. This boy just likes to eat!
Likes: Showers and baths, being swaddled, snuggling Mom, nursing, Daddy kisses, pooping, laying on his side, sunshine
Dislikes: Dirty diapers, diaper changes, loud noises (Dad cocking the Nerf guns), getting his guts squeezed by his overly-loving big sister, cold, tummy aches from eating too fast, stethoscopes
Nicknames: Eli Monster, Love Bug, Baby Bug, Eli Bug, Baby Brother
Developments: Eyes more focused, starting to find his hands, better latching, nurses every hour and a half, will usually fall asleep by himself if his diaper is clean, his tummy is full, and he's swaddled.
Our Favorite Things: His pointy chin (he was born with a weird, pointy bump. nothing to worry about, but the dr is sending us to a specialist), his hairy back and sideburns, the way he eats like it might be his last meal, his grumpy old man faces, his sleepy smiles
This boy is an absolute dream! I'm hoping he continues to chunk up because Annie never did, and I need a squishy baby! We love his sweet demeanor and the way he solemnly just takes in the world around him. I love you, sweet Elias!
