Eli: Month 3

As much as I miss the teensy newborn stage,
there's nothing like the smiles and cuddles of a chunky 3-month-old.
Weight: 15.5 lbs
Likes:
His latest hobbies include slurping his fingers, drooling, talking to the fan, Daddy tickling his head, and sitting in the Bumbo.
He still likes his paci, being swaddled, and getting kisses on those squishy cheeks!
Dislikes:
Sister's learning to be more gentle, but he's getting better at expressing his displeasure at her exuberant hugs. He doesn't like being left in a room alone but will sit happily in a corner and observe everyone. He's also not a huge fan of tummy-time an will usually just lay his head down, suck his fists, and fall asleep.
Firsts:
For Spring Break, this boy got to go to the cabin for the first time! He loved just sitting on the porch swing and looking out at the trees and sky.
He also had his first real bath! He's had showers and baths in his little sling tub, but at the cabin, he got to lie in a couple inches of water in the tub. At first, he was really stiff and unsure, but then he became very concentrated on kicking as hard as he could to splash.
And he got his first walk in the stroller! I'm so glad we got the double attachment when we first bought it so now we can take both kids on a walk in this beautiful weather.
Stay tuned for:
He's so close to laughing! I've gotten a couple little giggles out of him,
but he's right on the cusp of those adorable baby belly laughs.
This month, we also visit the plastic surgeon to take a look at his weird, oozy chin bump to see if something needs to be done about it.
Should be interesting!
And also, we're about to switch to 3-6 month clothes. This is so weird for me to have a baby following the age-size ratio!
